These night latches are available as traditional night latches, double-locking night latches and deadlocking night latches. We include these with all our night latches. At Hiatt Hardware, all our night latches are installed with traditional rim cylinders installed on the outside of the door. The only difference is the case's size narrow night latches are more suitable for doors with a narrow frame. There are two types of basic night latches, standard and narrow. Often included with a snib (button) on the internal casing, night latches allow you to leave the door unlocked when shut if you wish this is suitable for short periods where you do not want to be unlocking and locking a door. When the door is closed, night latches will automatically secure the door using a bolt that connects the door to the door frame. When you need to unlock a night latch, you will need a key to open from the outside or use the knob on the inside to open the door. While mortice door locks are installed flush inside the door, mounting a night latch to the inside of the door makes a property more secure. A night latch sits on the inside surface of the door. Night latches are an ideal addition to provide an extra level of security to your home. To unlock, you just need to enter the combination you have set up.Night Latch Locks in Traditional Style and Multiple Metal Finishes
